Fully Automatic Cut to Length Line Machine Helps You Save Labor and Work More Efficiently
Do you need to arrange two or three workers every day just to handle coil loading and sheet cutting? Steel coils are very heavy, and one mistake can easily cause injuries. In addition, manually cut sheets are often a few millimeters off in length, causing alignment problems during the bending process. In fact, you do not need to put up with these issues. A good Cut to Length Line Machine can solve them from the source. Our production line runs automatically from uncoiling to stacking. One operator only needs to stand by and monitor the machine. Below, I will explain the two most important parts, automation control and the uncoiler, and show you how this machine makes production easier.

Automation Control: Complete the Job with One Button
Many traditional cut to length lines require three workers: one handles uncoiling, one handles measuring, and one handles material receiving. When workers change shifts, product quality changes as well. Our cut to length line machine is completely different.
You only need to enter the length and quantity on the touch screen, and the machine completes the rest automatically. The PLC controls the entire line: the uncoiler automatically expands and grips the steel coil, the straightener automatically adjusts the roller gap, the encoder measures the length in real time, and the hydraulic shear cuts the sheet automatically. After cutting, the system automatically counts the sheets, and when a preset quantity is reached, the pneumatic stacking device automatically aligns the sheets neatly. One ordinary operator can easily supervise two production lines.

Coil Loading Can Be Completed by One Person
Coil loading is one of the most troublesome tasks in many workshops. Steel coils are heavy, and it is difficult to align the inner diameter accurately with a forklift. Forcing the coil into position can even damage the machine. Our cut to length line machine is equipped with a hydraulic expanding uncoiler and a hydraulic coil loading car, making the process much easier.
The coil loading car lifts the steel coil and moves forward and backward to align the coil inner diameter with the expanding mandrel of the uncoiler. Then, you simply press the hydraulic button, and the mandrel expands outward to firmly support the coil from the inside. The entire process requires no crowbars and no hammers. One person can load a coil within five minutes. The uncoiler supports a maximum load of 15 tons and works with steel coils having an inner diameter of 480 to 520 millimeters. The machine is also equipped with a braking system to prevent the coil from loosening due to inertia.

Working Process of the Entire Line
Our cut to length line machine simplifies a complex process into several continuous steps:

From right to left, they are Uncoiler + coil car—Press device with side guide device—straightener + code device—Hydraulic cutting machine—receivable table
As you can see, the machine completes the entire process automatically, from steel coil to neatly stacked sheets. Operators only need to assist during the first loading step and the final material receiving step.

What Can the Cut Sheets Be Used For
The sheets you produce are not just semi finished products. They are the starting point for many high end products. Our cut to length machine steel serves the following industries:
Automotive Manufacturing Industry: Cutting door panels, roofs, battery housings, and other components to meet lightweight requirements.
Power Transformer Industry: Cutting silicon steel sheets for transformer cores, where extremely high precision is required.
Aerospace Industry: Cutting aluminum alloy and titanium alloy sheets used for fuselage skins, wings, and aircraft doors.
Construction and Shipbuilding Industry: Cutting steel beams, wall panels, metal roofing sheets, and large marine plates.
General Machinery and Home Appliance Industry: Cutting basic metal components such as appliance housings, kitchen equipment, storage tanks, and heat exchangers.
The image below shows finished products made by customers using sheets produced by our machine, followed by bending and punching operations. You can clearly see how neat the edges and dimensions are. As long as your products start from steel coils, this machine can help you manufacture them in house without purchasing semi finished products from external suppliers.

Why This Machine Solves Your Real Production Problems
We have summarized the three most common customer complaints and how this cut to length machine steel solves them.
- Pain Point One: Labor costs are high, and workers are difficult to recruit.
Solution: Fully automatic PLC control allows one operator to supervise two production lines.
- Pain Point Two: Cut sheets vary in length.
Solution: The encoder measures length in real time, achieving a length accuracy of plus or minus 1.5 millimeters.
- Pain Point Three: Coil loading is slow and dangerous.
Solution: A hydraulic coil loading car combined with a hydraulic expanding uncoiler allows a 15 ton coil to be loaded safely within five minutes.
You do not need to buy the most expensive production line, but you should buy a production line that does not create unnecessary trouble. Our machine may not be the cheapest on the market, but it can help you reduce labor requirements by two workers, reduce material waste by several tons, and avoid customer complaints about incorrect dimensions. Over the course of a year, the savings are often much greater than the price difference between machines.

Contact Us: We Can Do Three Things for You
After reading the information above, you may still want to know: How much does the machine cost? What is the shipping cost? How long is the delivery time? We are willing to do three things for you:
First, based on your steel coil specifications and commonly used sheet lengths, we can provide a detailed quotation.
Second, if convenient, we can send you a video showing a similar machine operating in a customer's workshop.
Third, we can prepare a simple workshop layout drawing to confirm that the machine will fit into your available space.
When you contact us, please also tell us your most commonly used sheet thickness and sheet width. This will help us provide a faster response.
